Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform

Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform in GitLab CI/CD pipelines, ensuring version-controlled, modular, and repeatable deployments.

Identity, Access & Security Management

Implement least-privilege IAM policies, secure AWS resources, and maintain role-based access controls to protect sensitive environments.

CI/CD Pipeline Development

Automate infrastructure and application deployments with GitLab and GitHub Actions, integrating Terraform for seamless cloud provisioning.

Database Operations & Optimization

Support RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB instances for secure, scalable, and high-performance database environments.

API Development & Integration

Deploy and maintain APIs using AWS API Gateway and StrongLoop, ensuring secure integration with backend systems.

Monitoring, Logging & Observability

Infrastructure Scaling & Performance Tuning

Documentation & Cross-Team Collaboration

Author and maintain runbooks, infrastructure documentation, and change management records in Confluence and ServiceNow, collaborating closely with DevOps, product, and operations teams.

Side Business

In addition to my professional roles, I run my own side business, Mountain Dog IT, providing both in-home and remote IT consulting for clients in the Philadelphia area and beyond. Through this venture, I deliver tailored technology solutions, including cloud migration and support, network setup, hardware troubleshooting, and cybersecurity best practices. I also freelance on platforms like Upwork and Fiverr, completing a variety of cloud and DevOps projects such as AWS infrastructure setup, Terraform-based automation, and environment monitoring configurations.
